Privacy Policy

1. Your saved library

The app and its share extension use a shared local container to save your library. SnapLink does not operate an account service or a server that stores or synchronizes your library. It does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

2. Link previews and websites

After you save a link, the app may request the page and its preview images to display a title and thumbnail. SnapLink reads the page metadata and can use Apple’s link-preview service. It does not run a hidden web view to capture screenshots. If no preview is available, the link is kept and you can choose a local cover image.

These requests expose normal web-request information, including your IP address, the requested URL, and browser/device request headers, to the receiving sites. Image requests may include the source page URL as a Referer header. Those sites may process or retain information under their own privacy policies. Opening a saved link also contacts its destination through your browser or the app that handles that link.

Your saved notes and cached previews can be viewed offline. New previews and live websites require an internet connection. SnapLink does not download complete web pages for offline reading.

3. Photos you choose

The “Upload Image” action uses Apple's photo picker. SnapLink receives the image you choose and stores a resized copy locally as the item's cover. This action does not upload your photo to a developer-operated server and does not grant access to your entire photo library.

4. Storage, backups, and deletion

You can delete saved items inside the app. SnapLink does not provide its own cross-device sync or backup service. Device backups, transfers, and restores may include app data depending on your Apple and device settings. Removing the app is not a promise that every copy in a device backup or a destination website's logs has been deleted.

5. Support requests

If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send will be used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending private saved links or sensitive content unless necessary for support.

6. Children

SnapLink is not designed specifically for children and does not create user accounts. Linked websites are independently operated and may contain content intended for older audiences.

7. Changes

This page will be updated when the app's practices change.
